VACANT UNIT SHOWING PROCEDURES

COVID-19

 

During the current Covid-19 pandemic, we have modified our vacant unit showing procedures.

 

APPLICATION

Interested prospective tenants must be able to:

·         Complete the on-line application.

·         Complete the employment verification form (top portion only) and email it to vacancy@hawaiirealtymanagement.com in PDF form.

·         Complete the Landlord Questionnaire  (top portion only) and email it to vacancy@hawaiirealtymanagement.com in PDF form.

·         Provide in PDF form, copies of the most recent pay stubs for that last two months.

·         Provide in PDF form, copies of other documents that may apply to your situation.

·         There is an application fee. If you pay Hawaii Realty Management directly by depositing the funds into our bank account, the fee is $15 per applicant. Retain and email a PDF copy of the deposit receipt to us. If you pay our credit reporting and background checking service directly, their fee is $30 per applicant.

 

SHOWING

Interested prospects must be at the property promptly at the scheduled time and agreed meeting place.

·         You must be illness free.

·         Our agent will be at the property a few minutes earlier to unlock the unit.

·         Our agent will meet you at the agreed meeting place and direct you to the vacant unit.

·         You should view the unit without touch anything. The agent will remain outside the unit.

·         If you have any questions, you can ask the agent but you must maintain a distance of at least 10 feet from the agent.

·         Showings will be exclusive. There will not be any other prospects at the same showing.

·         If you can’t make the showing, call us at 808-941-2948 x 5 to let us know. If there is no answer, please leave a message.

 

RENTAL AGREEMENT

If you apply for the unit and are accepted, you must be able to review the rental documents on-line.

If you are unable to sign the Rental Documents on-line, you will be required to sign the signature pages at the move in date.

·         The security deposit must be paid by money order or cashier’s check paid to Hawaii Realty Management. Or, the security deposit can be paid by depositing the funds into our bank account. Retain and email a PDF copy of the deposit receipt to us.

·         The first month’s rent can be paid by check at the time of the move-in and the signing of the signature pages.
